Regulatory Compliance and Certifications

GDPR, SOC 2, CPRA, PCI, HIPAA (No, it’s not spelled “HIPPA” even though it’s pronounced that way)—while regulations and security standards are trailing behind the speed of technical advancement, they do present the potential for liability as well as competitive differentiation.

Companies with cybersecurity certifications gain access to new clients. Cyber insurance providers look for these certifications in developing their policies. There are many reason to pursue compliance; while we at Team Tech do not grant certifications directly, we do assist our clients in meeting regulatory standards, in evaluating the requirements of certifications, and in arduously preparing to meet those requirements.

Holistic Approach to Security

Many people still think antivirus when they think cybersecurity, and while viruses are still a legitimate threat, they are only one of many strategies used to infiltrate and exploit businesses. Anything that connects to the internet has the potential to be compromised.

Human error represents the greatest threat to business data, so securing that data requires a holistic approach that includes security awareness training, email security, managed detection and response, permissions management, and attack surface mitigation (give hackers less stuff to hack)

Firewall Management

For organizations with centralized offices, firewalls are still one of the easiest and most secure ways to control the flow of data in and out of your network. Team Technology helps to properly set up your firewalls, maintain ongoing manufacturer support, and manage security updates as they’re released.
