Windows 7 is turning ten years old later this month. At the same time, it has just over one hundred days until it will be no longer be eligible for technical assistance or software updates from Microsoft. As Microsoft committed to supporting Windows 7 for ten years from its initial release, this was not surprising. But for many businesses adjusting to the upgrades and replacements, this has been a busy year! Software upgrades are always complicated by the system requirements of line-of-business applications and business-critical hardware. We have worked with many vendors this year to ensure our clients' systems continue running smoothly.
Team Technology has been happy to have been able to provide much-needed support through this transitional year, and we're excited to continue doing so! We understand that business technology is in a constant state of transition. Not everyone is quite ready to say goodbye to Windows 7, however. In a recent report, nearly half of businesses surveyed were still using Windows 7. If that’s you, and you have questions related to how Microsoft end-of-support will impact your business's ability to comply with your industry's regulations, please reach out to us! We would love to help set you up for success.
